    • Stop Using Exfoliants 48 Hours Prior

    • Avoid Sun Exposure or Tanning for 3–5 Days

    • Do Not Wax or Use Depilatories for 48 Hours

    • Discontinue Use of Accutane (if applicable) 6 Months Before

    • Avoid Botox or Fillers for 2 Weeks Prior

    • Stay Hydrated

    • Avoid Makeup the Day of the Appointment

    • Avoid makeup for 24 hours

    • Do not use retinol, AHAs, or BHAs for 3 days

    • Apply SPF daily (minimum SPF 30)

    • Avoid excessive heat for 24–48 hours (sauna, hot showers, workouts)

    • Do not wax, shave, or use depilatories for 48 hours

    • Skip exfoliation for 1 week

    • Use gentle skincare products only

    • Drink plenty of water

    • Avoid direct sunlight for at least 72 hours

  • No. Most people feel only a light scraping sensation, and many find it relaxing.

  • We recommend skipping makeup for the rest of the day so your skin can settle. Your makeup will apply beautifully the next day.

  • Yes. It's one of our favorite pairings. Exfoliating first helps your treatment serums penetrate better. In addition, your at home skincare products will absorb beautifully and your make up will apply seamlessly.

  • Dermaplaning is suitable for most skin types, but it isn't recommended over active acne, irritated skin, or certain skin conditions. Your aesthetician will assess your skin before every service.
