Chemical Peels in Oviedo, FL: Smoother, Brighter, More Even Skin
About
A chemical peel is a professional exfoliating treatment that gently dissolves the dull, damaged top layer of your skin so fresher skin can show through. It’s one of the most effective ways to work on uneven tone, rough texture, breakouts, and the sun damage that comes with life in Central Florida.
At Ritual Skin Lounge, a boutique facial studio in Oviedo, your peel is chosen and applied by a licensed aesthetician with nearly nine years of experience. Nothing here is one-size-fits-all. Your skin is assessed first, then your peel is matched to your concerns, your skin type, and how your skin tends to react, so you get real results without a rough ride. We offer a wide range of chemical peels, customized for your individual skin needs, including glycolic acid peels, mandolin acid peels, salicylic acid peels, TCA peels, lactic acid peels and more.

How to Prepare for Your Nano Infusion
How to Prepare for Your Nano Infusion
-
A little prep makes your peel safer and your results better. Here’s what we ask before your appointment:
Stop using retinoids, exfoliating acids, and scrubs for 7 days beforehand.
Avoid waxing, threading, or other facial hair removal for 10 - 14 days before your peel.
Stay out of the sun and skip tanning, and arrive without a sunburn or irritated skin.
Let us know about any recent laser or other skin treatments, and whether you’ve taken isotretinoin in the last 6 - 12 months
Tell us if you get cold sores. A peel can trigger a flare-up, and we may recommend steps to take beforehand.
Share any allergies, skin sensitivities, and your current skincare routine, and let us know if you are pregnant or nursing.

A chemical peel is a professional skin treatment that uses a carefully chosen exfoliating solution to remove the damaged top layer of skin, revealing smoother, brighter skin underneath.
-
Most clients feel a warm, tingling sensation that passes quickly. The level depends on the peel and your skin, and your aesthetician will check in with you throughout.
-
It depends on the peel. Some clients see light flaking for a few days, and others see very little. We’ll tell you what to expect for your peel before you leave.
-
Most of our peels are designed to fit into real life, with mild pinkness or dryness at most. Your aesthetician will tell you what to expect for your specific peel.
-
Results build over a series of treatments and are best maintained with consistent sun protection and a good home routine. Your aesthetician will recommend a schedule for your goals.
-
Wear SPF every day, keep your routine gentle and hydrating, and don’t pick or pull at any flaking. Hold off on retinoids and strong exfoliants until your aesthetician says it’s safe to restart.
-
Often, yes. The right peel for sensitive or acne-prone skin is different from the right peel for sun damage, which is why we assess your skin first. If a peel isn’t the best choice for you right now, we’ll recommend something that is.
-
A HydraFacial cleanses, exfoliates, extracts, and hydrates in one relaxing treatment with no peeling. A chemical peel works on a deeper level of the skin’s surface to address pigmentation, texture, and breakouts. Many times, we are able to combine an advanced chemical peel with your hydrafacial for returning clients. Your aesthetician can help you decide which fits your skin and your calendar.
