Wedding Skincare Timeline: When to Book Facials Before Your Big Day

Brides ask me this constantly, and the timing genuinely matters — book too close to the wedding and you risk redness or purging; book too early and the glow fades before the big day.

6 Months Out: Start the Foundation

This is the time to address bigger concerns — active acne, hyperpigmentation, texture — with a regular facial cadence, not a rush job. Big changes need time.

3 Months Out: Build Consistency

Monthly facials from here on keep your skin progressing steadily. This is also a safe window to try a new treatment (like a peel) since you have time to recover if your skin reacts.

1 Month Out: No New Treatments

This is not the time to try anything new. Stick with treatments and products your skin already knows and loves — no surprises this close to the date.

1-2 Weeks Out: The Glow Facial

A HydraFacial or light, hydrating facial here gives you that lit-from-within look without any redness or downtime risk.

The Day Before: Nothing New, Just Hydration

A very light, calming treatment (or nothing at all beyond your normal routine) is the safest move the day before.
